1. Introduction
Welcome to PawPrint AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and your pet's
data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use
our mobile application, including the PawPrint Social community features.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The types of information we collect
include:
- Images, Media & Audio: We require access to your device's Camera, Photo Library, and
Microphone to enable core functionality such as pet mood scanning, breed detection, and video analysis.
- Pet Data: Information you voluntarily provide about your pets (e.g., Name, Breed, Age,
Weight) to personalise the AI analysis.
- Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your Email Address and
Display Name for authentication and community features.
- Community Content: If you use PawPrint Social, we collect posts, comments, reactions,
pet photos, and other user-generated content you voluntarily publish. This content is visible to other
users of the app.
- Social Activity: Follows, likes, bookmarks, and emoji reactions you make within the
community feed.
- Push Notifications: Device push notification tokens to deliver alerts for social
interactions (likes, comments, follows). You can opt out at any time via device settings.
- Device Information: Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) to facilitate
advertising services and analytics.
- Usage Data: Anonymous data about how you interact with the App to help us improve
performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
- AI Analysis: Your photos, videos, and audio are processed securely in the cloud using
Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) to detect and analyse pet moods and breeds. Raw data is not permanently
stored after the analysis is complete.
- PawPrint Social: Community posts, comments, and profile information are stored and
shared publicly within the app to enable the social feed feature.
- Account Management: Your email is used to secure your login and sync your history
across devices.
- Push Notifications: To send you real-time alerts for social interactions when you have
notifications enabled.
- Subscriptions: We use RevenueCat to validate your Premium subscription status and
entitlements.
- Advertising: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to non-premium users. AdMob
may use device identifiers to show personalised ads (subject to your consent via App Tracking
Transparency on iOS).
4. Publicly Shared Content
Content you post to PawPrint Social (posts, comments, profile name, and pet photos) is visible to all users
of the application. Please do not share sensitive personal information in public posts.
You may delete your own posts and comments at any time from within the app. Deleted content is permanently
removed from our servers within 30 days.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party services required to operate
the App:
- Google Firebase: For authentication, database storage, push notifications, and
analytics.
- Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini): For AI image and audio analysis.
- RevenueCat: For subscription processing and management.
- Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements (free users only).
6. Data Retention
- Guest Users: Data is stored locally on your device and deleted when you uninstall the
app.
- Registered Users: Data is stored securely in the cloud until you delete your account.
- Community Content: Posts and comments remain visible until you delete them or delete
your account.
- AI Data: Raw image and audio data processed for mood analysis is not permanently stored
after the analysis is complete.
7. Account Deletion
You have full control over your data.
- In-App Deletion (Recommended): Navigate to Profile → Settings → Delete
Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated data,
including community posts and comments.
- Email Request: Send an email to unrivaled.holdings@gmail.com
with the subject line "Delete Account Request." We will confirm deletion within 7 days.
8. Security
All data transmission between the app and our servers is encrypted via SSL/TLS. We strive to use commercially
acceptable means of protecting your information; however, no method of transmission over the internet is
100% secure.
9. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting
the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
11. Content Moderation
PawPrint Social uses a combination of automated AI moderation (powered by Google Gemini) and manual review to
ensure community posts and comments comply with our community standards. Content that violates our
guidelines may be removed without notice. Users who repeatedly violate guidelines may have their accounts
suspended.
To report inappropriate content, tap the ⋮ menu on any post and select
"Report." Reports are reviewed by our team within 48 hours.
This app is intended for users aged 18 and over.
